NEWS: 5 DEAD AS NIGERIAN AIR FORCE HELICOPTER CRASH IN BORNO

Crash 
At least five persons have been confirmed dead in a Nigerian Air Force Mi-35 Helicopter crash which occurred due to technical fault while on a training mission at South of Bama, Borno State yesterday afternoon.
A statement by the Director, Defence Information, Major General Chris Olukolade, in Abuja, said one of the pilots of the helicopter recovered alive while the second pilot as well as the technician and the 3-member crew died in the crash.

The statement stated that it had been established that the crash was not as a result of any enemy action. It added that further details on the crash will be made known as soon as the investigation progresses.
